It was a big day for Callaway High’s wrestling team, which was competing in the Area 5-AA tournament.

Six members of the team finished fourth or higher to qualify for next week’s state section, and Callaway finished third.

Ken Wilson, Jabarri Fisher and Matthew Wingate all finished first, Jayvon Nunley placed second, Khaliq Swift was third, and Jamarcus White placed fourth.

Brandon Belton finished fifth.
