Lillie Pearl Winston Lovelace of Gilbert, Arizona passed away Sunday.

 

She was born June 7, 1934 in Cusseta (Chambers County) Alabama to the late, Wilbert Winston and Ludora Avery Winston.

 

She retired from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas after twenty years of service. Mrs. Lovelace was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include her son, Peter (Lisa) Lovelace, Jr.; five grandchildren; siblings:  Bessie L. Wright, West Point, GA; Minnie K. Abner, Lithonia, GA; Willie Mae Billingslea, West Point, GA; Ella Bonner, Detroit, MI; Arvella Williams, Alexander City, AL; General Winston, West Point, GA; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 12:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Dr. W. T. Edmondson and Dr. John Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Marseilles Cemetery.
