Mr. Trice H. Stokley, Sr,  82, of LaGrange passed away February 1, 2017 at his home. Mr. Stokley was born August 19, 1934 in Silas Alabama the son of the late Edward George & Mattie Kelley Stokley.

Mr. Stokley was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a United States Army Veteran of Korean War and member of Albert J. Perry Post 4639 VFW Post. Trice was known in the building material business as a expert and worked as a sales manager forWest/ Lowes and Jordan-Bradley Building materials now known as Builders Source.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mrs. Nellie Ruth Smith Stokley on December 17, 1991. Daughter, Brenda Stokley Thrower and Son, James Edward Stokley and Brother, George E. Stokley.

 

Survivors include Sons: Trice H. Stokley, Jr., Richard Donald Stokley, Sr., E. Tracy Stokley,  all of LaGrange;  13 Grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 11 Great great grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017 from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock.
