Lamar Rhodes

Lamar Rhodes passed away Monday.

He was born July 1, 1955 in LaGrange (Troup County) Georgia to James (Katherine) Towns, Sr. and Mrs. Lillie Mae Rhodes.

He served in the United States Army in the 1970’s where he was stationed in Korea.

Survivors include his daughter, Shemika Haynes; son-in-law, Adrian Owens; four grandchildren, one great grandson; six brothers, Eddie Ray (Nannie) Rhodes, Willie David Rhodes, James (Linda) Towns, Jr., Donald (Tammy) Towns, Michael (Liza) Towns, Vensun (Natalie_ Towns; sister, Benita (Winston) Clemons; a very special nephew, Tony (Tanesha) Gates; special friend, Valeria Haynes; and a host of loving family and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Confidence Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
