William Edward “Willie B” Benefield, 40, of Roanoke, AL passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Wedowee Hospital.

Mr. Benefield was born October 15, 1976 in LaGrange, GA to Clyde E. Benefield and Terri D. Scarborough Benefield. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family. William will be greatly missed by all who know him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Benefield; children, Kylie Benefield (Oscar Campose), Taylor Benefield, and Olivia Benefield; brothers, Roy Jackson and Erick Benefield (Amber Garcia); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
