Mrs. Clara Cathcart, 89, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Cathcart was born July 7, 1927, in Carroll County, daughter of the late Walter Eugene Masdon and Claudia Williamson Masdon.  A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 28 years of service.

Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Debbie and Ray Hill of Franklin; son, Duane Cathcart of Hogansville; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Rigsby and a great-grandson, Tucker Laws.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home.  Rev. Brandon Brooks will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
