Terry W. Redden “Pops”, 76, of LaGrange, GA passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Florence Hand Nursing Home.

Mr. Redden was born September 23, 1940 in LaGrange, GA to the late Marion Lewis Redden and Jessie Hines Redden. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Redden enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, bird watching, and his cups of coffee. He enjoyed life and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucinda Jayne Spears Redden; 5 siblings; and a great grandchild, Hudson Golden.

Survivors include his children, Michael (Linda) Golden, Linda (Mike) Sims, and Karen (Regina) Golden; grandchildren, Allen (Melinda) Golden, Jessica Hopson, Andrea Hopson, Lori (Matt) Terry, Chase Boggs, Jeremy Golden, Preston Boggs, Mikayla Ramsey, Michael Shirey, Matt Shirey, Sean (Kara) Miles, and Phillip (Rebekah) Miles; great grandchildren, Marli Self, Walker Golden, Jadarius Young, and Gavin Miles; his beloved companion, his Boston Terrier “Lil Bit”; other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of family and friends will be 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The family will hold a private memorial service.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in honor of Walker Golden, to the March of Dimes. A special thanks to Dr. Wassim McHayleh and the entire staff of West Georgia Oncology.
