Annie Dell Lakes passed away Tuesday.

She was born April 25, 1939 to the late, Laura Lee Howell Allen and Isaac David Allen in LaGrange, Georgia.

Annie Dell joined Confidence Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Mother’s Board. She was educated in the Troup County School System. She married the late Walter Lakes.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, Walter; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Fitzpatrick; and brother, Bennie Allen.

Survivors include one son, Derak (Loraine) Allen; one sister, Martha (Leroy) Dowell; two brothers: Willie Frank (Marsha) Allen, and John (Elvina) Allen, all of LaGrange; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Confidence Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Michael Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow at Soutvhiew Cemetery.
