Mr. Billy Glenn Banks, 86, of LaGrange, GA passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Banks was born May 6, 1930 in Hampton, GA to the late James Madison Banks and Velma Lee Meeks Banks. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from the Washington National Airport as an aircraft refueler.

Survivors include his wife, Minna L. Fleischmann Banks; daughter, Velma Louise Morgan; son, William Glenn Banks; daughter, Brenda Jean and Donald Edwards; grandchildren, Rebecca Barnes, Kathryn Edwards, and Laura Edwards; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The Funeral will be 3:00pm Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Chapel of  Striffler-Hamby Mortuary and the family will receive friends from 1:30pm until service time. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
