LaGRANGE – A Troup County Grand Jury indicted nine alleged members of the “Lot Boys” criminal street gang (also known as the “4way” criminal street gang) earlier this month for two separate shootings in which one man was killed.

Shawndarious Terreonta Sands, aka “Dare,” aka “Juug,” Kelvin Hurston, aka “K.J.,” Charles Alexander Lovelace Jr., aka “C.J.,” 18, of West Point, Coty Lance Green, 21, of West Point, Natori Javonte Lee, aka “Tori,” Dextreion Karlaye Shealey, aka “Scrunchie,” 18, of Lanett, Ala., Dantavious Tyshun Rutledge, 18, of West Point, Zachary Tyler Holloway, aka “BJ” and Andre Murocko Gilliam face several charges against them.

Sands, Hurston, Lovelace Jr, Green, Lee, Shealey, Rutledge and Holloway were each charged with one count of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault and four counts of violating the street gang terrorism and prevention act, according to the indictment.

The eight men are accused of opening fire on a home in the 200 block of Newnan Street the night of Dec. 17, 2016. At least one bullet struck Devan Tucker, 20, as he walked outside the residence, LaGrange Police told the Daily News in an earlier article.

Tucker was rushed to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center where he later died from his wounds, investigators said.

Witnesses told officers the gunmen arrived in two separate vehicles and began shooting towards the house on Newnan Street, according to a police report.

Both cars then fled the scene, witnesses said.

Sands, Hurston, Lovelace and Green were each additionally charged with one count of malice murder, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and two more counts of violating the street gang terrorism and prevention act, the indictment stated.

The Newnan Street incident was the second drive by shooting LPD police responded to the night of Dec. 17, 2016.

Just after 10 p.m., cars carrying multiple suspects entered a parking lot at the corner of North Greenwood Street and Hunnicutt Place and began firing into a crowd of people gathered in Granger Park, LPD investigators told the Daily News.

No one was hurt in the incident but two vehicles were struck by bullets, according to investigators.

Sands, Lovelace, Lee, and Gilliam were also charged in that incident. Each man was indicted for one count of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and two counts of violating the street gang terrorism and prevention act.

The “Lot Boys” or “4ways” criminal street gang is reportedly based out of West Point that allegedly have “beef” with a gang in LaGrange.

Investigators did not reveal if Tucker or someone else was an intended target the night the shootings took place.
