Man allegedly punches out windows

A mother called 911 and reported a man shattered three windows on her home in the 1100 block of Simmons Street just before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The man was allegedly the ex-boyfriend of her daughter, the report stated.

The girl reportedly told the man she did not want to date him. He became enraged and proceeded to punch out three windows, according to the report.

The man sustained a serious injury to his arm and went to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, the report read. He may also face battery charges, said LaGrange police.

The cost to repair the house windows was estimated at $250.

 

Suspect steals money from car

A woman called 911 when she noticed someone stole thousands of dollars in cash and a bank card from her car while it was parked outside the Daniel Food Mart at 512 Daniel Street.

The woman told LaGrange police officers $1,500 in cash and the debit card were missing from the center console, the report stated.

Video surveillance footage showed as the victim entered the store, a man opened the passenger side car door and rummaged through the vehicle, according to the report.

The suspect then took off on foot.

 

Thieves steal tires off cars

 

  • A man discovered someone stole all four tires off his vehicle while it was parked in the Woodland Trail Apartments at 140 North Davis Road early Thursday morning.

The victim told LaGrange police the Bridgestone brand tires were valued at $1,300.

 

 

  • The management staff at Lee’s Crossing Apartments at 119 Old Airport Road also found a truck in their parking lot missing all four tires, a report read.

LaGrange police officers discovered the Dodge truck was sitting on cement blocks and lug nuts were lying on the ground, the report said.

The tires were valued at $500.
