Thomas Clifford Ray, 70, of LaGrange, passed away at his residence on April 3, 2017.  He was born January 22, 1947 in LaGrange to Marjorie Rivers Ray and the late Willie Ray.  Mr. Thomas Clifford Ray was a retired fireman serving in the LaGrange Fire Department.  He also retired as a truck driver and taught at West Georgia Technical College.

Mr. Ray is survived by his mother, Marjorie Rivers Ray; sons, Richard H. Ray (Susan) and Steven Scott Ray (LueAnn); his brothers, Steve Ray (Jane) and Donald Ray (Reba), and his grandchildren, Spencer Ray, Kate Ray, Rachael Ray, Megan Ray, Destiny Ray, and Dakota Ray.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.higginsfuneralhomes.com

A memorial service will be held at Higgins LaGrange Chapel on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at noon and the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday.  A committal service will directly follow the service and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
