LaGrange wraps up regular season

PHENIX CITY, Ala. –The LaGrange Grangers wrapped up the regular season with a 6-5 road loss to Central-Phenix City on Friday.

LaGrange (19-11), which finished second in Region 5-AAAA, will be at home on Friday for the opening round of the state playoffs.

The Grangers scored five runs despite getting just three hits. Charles Crawford drove in a pair of runs for LaGrange, and Cole Freeman had an RBI.

Ben Anderson, David Sweat, Champ Willis, Willis Kemp and Matt Anderson each scored runs for LaGrange.

Freeman, Ben Stogner and Cole Sanders each pitched for LaGrange.
