Martha “Marty” (nee Bir) Kennell, entered into rest May 26, 2017, of Grand Island, New York, born in LaGrange, Indiana.  Wife of Jack Kennell Sr.  Mother of John (Donna) Kennell Jr., Chris (Todd) Callen, Sue (Mike) Attea and Michelle (Jim) Muscoreil.  Grandmother of Jack III and Jesse Kennell, Carly and Cass Phelan, Bryce, Drew and Derek Callen.

Daughter of the late Gertrude and Henry Bir.  She was the last surviving and youngest of seven children.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday at the Kaiser Funeral Home, Grand Island, New York.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Wednesday, at 10 A.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, Grand Island, New York.  Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
