The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Willie “P-Shooter” Terry of LaGrange will be Saturday at 2:00PM at the Saint James C.M.E. Church on Revis Street.   Rev. Stafford Dudley will officiate.   Burial will be in the Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Terry, a native of LaGrange, was born December 19, 1942 and was the son of the late Waddell Terry and the late Lillie Mae and Acie Dudley Jr.  He attended Saint James C.M.E. Church.   He did not meet a stranger and loved his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Willie Joe Terry; daughters: Elizabeth Terry, Atlanta, GA; Millette (William) Plenty, Newnan, GA; a loving wife, Mattie Terry, LaGrange; grandchildren: Jamario White, Dejuan Hood Jr.; seven great-grandchildren: Jamario White Jr., Jeremiah White, Ivyonna White, La’Miyah White, Ja’Miyah White, Zoey White, Dejuan Hood III;  sisters: Marie (Willie) Talley, Shirley Hall, Brenda (Dennis) Tucker, Connie Dudley, Yolander Dudley, all of LaGrange; Renita (Tyree) Woodyard, Greenville, GA; Dorothy Hines, Decatur, GA; brothers: Acie (Cathy) Ogletree Jr.; Charlie Dudley; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; God child: Jamacus Giddens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Sims; and brothers: Johnny Dudley and John Willie Dudley.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Connie Dudley at 105 McGregor Street.

Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
