Mrs. Virginia Ann Bowen Taylor, 73, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at her home.

Born September 10, 1943, in LaGrange, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Rudie and Hazel McClain Bowen.  She was resident of Hogansville most of her life before moving to LaGrange in 2005, worked for RAM Manufacturing, and was a member of Higher Dimensions Ministries.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Shawn Powers, Jr. of LaGrange and Sheena and Stephen Gamblin of Newnan; 2 great-grandchildren, Cayden and Evelyn Gamblin; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, William Harris Taylor and her daughter, Hazel Taylor Powers.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.  Pastor Shawn Powers will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until 2 Saturday afternoon.
