Cory Tatum passed away Saturday at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

He was born August 31, 1969 in LaGrange, Georgia to Mrs. Catherine Tatum and the late, Arthur Lee Tatum.

He joined the Rising Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Cory graduated from Troup County High School in 1988. He was employed by LaGrange College and 505 Restaurant.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Catherine Tatum; the love of his life for twenty-three years, Kalena Osborn; two sons, Davon Osborn, LaGrange, GA; Christopher Merrill, Albany, GA; one daughter, Kaileigh Clements, LaGrange, GA; one granddaughter; two brothers, Arthur Trumaine Tatum and Keith Tatum; two sisters, Jennifer Tatum and Denise Tatum, all of LaGrange, GA; three aunts, Mary Worle, Martha Tatum Talley, both of LaGrange, GA; Florence Lynch, Southfield, MI; five nieces, special nephew; his loved extended family, Kay Osborn, Jeremy Osborn, Bubba Osborn, Katrina Burden, Patricia Anderson, the Brooks Family, and a host of cousins.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 3:00 at Friendship Baptist Church. Pastor B. Orr and Evangelist Renee Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.
