Mrs. Sara Carol Waldroup, age 66, of LaGrange, passed away on June 21, 2017, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Waldroup was born in January 11, 1951, in Carrollton, Georgia to the late John Henry Arrington and Avis Barrett Arrington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Waldroup; son, Donald Wayne Waldroup, siblings, Gene Arrington, Ray Arrington and Jeanette Loggins.  Survivors include her sons, Steve Waldroup and Jonathan Waldroup and his wife Allison, all of LaGrange; daughter, Lisa Maxwell and her husband Mike of LaGrange; brothers, George Arrington and his wife Sandra, John “Bud” Arrington and his wife Erlene and Wayne Arrington and his wife Kathy; sister, Frances Wingard; grandchildren, Brandi Vetter and her husband Karl, Taylor Maxwell and his wife Lacey, Landon Waldroup, Lexi Waldroup and Jackson Waldroup; great grandchild, Mia Vetter; extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.
