Willean Anderson McFarlin

Willean Anderson McFarlin passed away Thursday at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

She was born January 22, 1948 in Langdale, Alabama. She was the second of five children of the late, Willie and Louise Anderson.

She attended East Depot High School. She retired from West Georgia Medical Center after fifteen years.

At an early age, Willean confessed Christ and united with St. Paul Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Anderson (Henry) Trammell; two granddaughters, Shequaveyha (Eddie) Rhodes and Shaikee’ Ward; one great granddaughter; one brother, Donald Anderson, LaGrange, GA; five sisters-in-law, Dorothy McFarlin, LaGrange, GA; Janice Todd, Anita Smith, and Annie Bell Wallace; three brothers-in-law, Aaron Smith, Jr., Floyd (Annie) Wallace, and Willie Wallace, all of West Point, GA; special nieces, Temeka, JaNauctia, and JaKhai Copeland, Mildred Cameron; special nephews, Daryl (Shirley) Winston, Anthony Anderson, and Roderick (Chantris) Boyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives, friends, and special friends, Nancy Gates Robertson and Ashton Court Residents.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church. Bishop Donald Lancaster will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
