Benny “Bennie” G. Ledbetter

Mr. Benny “Bennie” G. Ledbetter, 74, a resident of Huguley, AL passed away, Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL with the Rev. Jackie Prickett and the Rev. Marshall Dye officiating.  Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include, two sons, Thomas Glenn Ledbetter, Rock Springs, GA; Billy Ledbetter, LaGrange, GA; daughter, Nancy P. (Rodney) Cole, LaGrange, GA;  grandchildren, Selina Blair Smallwood, Zan Joshua Pruitt, Jesse Jaymes, Alan Ledbetter, Kenneth Ledbetter, Jr., Rylee Ledbetter, Abby Ledbetter; great-grandchildren, Lynleigh Zan Pruitt, Charleigh Mae Pruitt, Bowen Zan Smallwood, Charleigh Grace Yates; three sisters, Joyce Pack, Ft. Payne, AL; Evie Peppers, LaFayette, GA; Judy Noles, Summerville, GA; nieces, nephews and his family pet Cheeco.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda G. Ledbetter, son, Kenneth Eugene Ledbetter, parents, Daniel Garrard Ledbetter & Eva Jane Ponder Ledbetter, and a brother, Edward Ledbetter.

Mr. Ledbetter was born in Trion, GA and served in the U. S. Army.  He retired from Milliken.  He was a member of Eastside Emanuel Holiness Church and loved his God and his family.
