LAGRANGE – Troup High will host a free youth football camp next week.

The camp, which will be led by Troup head coach Tanner Glisson and other members of his staff as well as some players, will be held on July 21 from 8 a.m. until noon at the school’s practice field next to the field house.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 12, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The camp will focus on the fundamentals, with an emphasis on blocking, tackling, passing, receiving, punting, kicking and long-snapping.

Campers are asked to bring tennis shoes, cleats, athletic clothes and sunscreen.

Anyone interested can come to the school the morning of the camp to register.
