Marc McClendon, 49, of LaGrange, GA passed away on July 15, 2017 in Panama City, FL.

Marc was born December 4, 1967, in LaGrange, GA, son of Lois Hightower Hartman and the late Jim Wayne McClendon.  He had lived in LaGrange all his life and was a graduate of Troup High School.  Marc was self-employed and owner of McClendon Vinyl Siding and Gutters.  He proudly served his country in the National Guard, serving as an E4 Combat Construction Specialist, and was the Cub Scout Leader of Pack 125.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Thelma McClendon and Cordie Hightower.

Survivors in addition to his mother, Lois Hightower Hartman of LaGrange, GA, include his wife, Tanya Lambeth McClendon of LaGrange, GA; son and daughter-in-law, John-Marc, Jr. and Amber McClendon of LaGrange, GA; daughter and daughter-in-law, Hannah and Erica Noltemeyer of Decatur, GA; brothers, Allen and Tina McClendon and their children, Kyle and Chelsie McClendon of Warm Springs, GA, and Joey McClendon of LaGrange, GA; mother-in-law, Dean Lambeth of LaGrange, GA; favorite nephew, Damien Lambeth of LaGrange, GA who Marc was very close to and was like a father figure; and close friends, Chris McGill, Tom Wyatt, Scott Riggs, Justin Bradfield, and Kevin Brown.

Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. David Cross officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in Meadoway Gardens.

The family will be at the home of his wife, Tanya Lambeth, 154 Tatum Heights Drive, and will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
