Smith Boyd, III passed away Monday.

He was born July 14, 1963 in Troup County, Georgia to the late, Smith Boyd, Jr and Willie Kate Boyd.

Sam was employed by Dunson Mill for over twenty years.

Survivors include his mother, (Willie Kate (Jimmy) Roberts; daughter, LaTisha Boyd; six grandchildren; two sisters, Shenell Tigner, all of LaGrange, GA and Effie Boyd, Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Handley Street. Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
