Travis Meadows, one of Nashville’s most sought after singer/songwriters, brings his roots country with a blues influence to Pure Life Studios stage Friday, Aug. 4, 2017.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. The concert is a $35 cash at the door but reservations are recommended due to limited seating, according to Pure Life Owner Maggie McDonald. Tickets are available at www.purelifelagrange.com.

The lopener is Nick Mayfield and Glory (Devin Bolan and Josh Kimbrell.) They will be playing on the outdoor stage during dinner service from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Meadows is the current go-to-songwriter for many top country artists- his recent hits include Worth the Wait by Lindsey Ell, The Good Life by Blackberry Smoke, Things That I Lean On by Wynonna Judd, God and Gun by Hank Williams Jr. along with cut by Jake Owens, Dierks Bentley Eric Church, Randy House, Ronnie Dunn, Frankie Ballard, Lee Ann Womack, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.. Travis Meadows is considered one of Rolling Stone Magazines 2017 Country Music Preview: Most Anticipated Album, Tours, and Festivals.

Raised by his grandmother, Meadows’ first memory was of watching his brother drown. At age 14, he was threatened by cancer, which he beat, but at the heavy cost of his right leg. Later, he skirted the boundaries of addiction before sobering up and becoming a Christian missionary for 17 years, substituting, as he says, one addiction for another. “My thoughts,” McDonald said “Travis Meadows is a soul filling, simple, no nonsense songwriter who has the potential to change the way you look at country music and enhance the air you breathe. I want to pack the room to capacity with music lovers. His gift is obvious, his stories are magical. Travis and Whiskey Jack (Whiskey Jack is Meadows slide guitarist) are going to create one of the most memorable nights to date.”

Parking is recommended in front and behind the Pure Life Studio building, as well as in front of the building to the right of Pure Life.

Pure Life Studios, an acoustic listening room, is located at 206 Clark St. in LaGrange. Outside food and drink are welcome. Dinner service is commonly provided from local outside sources.
