Mr. John Wallace Reid,  93, of LaGrange passed away Thursday at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Reid was born August 13, 1923 in LaGrange.  He retired from The Georgia Department of Transportation as district engineer of the 3rd division (Thomaston). For the last 4 years Mr. Reid had been a resident of Poplar Creek Assisted Living.

His son: John Reid, Perry, Ga. Grandson and his wife: John M. Jr. & Nichole Reid, Woodstock, GA. three great grandchildren: Daniel Reid, Joseph Reid and Kenleigh Reid

A private entombment will be held Friday at Shadowlawn Mausoleum.
