Mrs. Bernice Frances Edwards, age 83, of West Point, passed away on Aug. 4, 2017, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Edwards was born on July 28, 1934, in Camden, New Jersey. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Charles Edwards; sons, Gerald Edwards and Dennis Edwards.  Survivors include her sons, Harry Edwards, Bryan Edwards (Tammy) and Gary Edwards; daughter, Donna Joiner (Sandy); brothers, William Schooley and Frank Schooley; sisters, Dorothy Duncan, Barbara Stevens and Joanna Martino; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Private family services will be held.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
