Billy James Crews

Mr. Billy James Crews, 70, of LaGrange, GA passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Piedmont Hospital, Fayetteville, GA.

Mr. Crews was born July 31, 1947, in LaGrange, GA, son of the late James Esmer Crews and Myrtle Johnson Crews.  He was the owner of Crews Music Company and was commonly known as “Jukebox Man.”

He had a love for drag racing, LaGrange Grangers, and Georgia Football.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Ann Crews; children, Wayne Crews (Bonnie), Donna Crews (Brian Hall), Sherry Moore (Trae), Rhonda Hicks, and Kevin Crews (Kathy); 11 grandchildren; sisters, Vicky Crews and Joyce Alverson (Sanford); step mother, Juanita Crews; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Jimmy McMillian and Dr. Mike Reeves officiating.  Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
