Mrs. Betty Jane Knowles Stephens, age 46, of LaGrange, passed away on August 6, 2017, at her residence.  Mrs. Stephens was born on October 5, 1970, on Reeltown, Alabama to the late Arthur Knowles and Joyce Strong Knowles.  She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle and was a homemaker, caring for the needs of her family.  She is survived by her husband, Stacey S. Stephens; children, James Stephens, Hunter Stephens and Leslie Stephens; step child, Derrick Stephens; brothers, Michael Knowles, Perry Collum (Charlotte) and Kenny Knowles; sisters, Donna Davis, Karen Sechrest and Nora Preston (Steve); grandchildren, Aiden Stephens, Aligah Stephens, Aidan Kortee and Raylan Pittman ; extended family and a host of friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. Jimmy McMillian and the Rev.
