LAGRANGE – Another start, another dominant performance for LaGrange High’s Camden Smith.

In her varsity debut on Saturday, Smith threw a one-hitter in a 7-0 victory over Callaway.

Smith was back on the mound on Monday for a non-region game against Hardaway, and she threw a five-inning shutout as LaGrange rolled to an 11-0 win.

Smith limited Hardaway’s hitters to three hits, and she had eight strikeouts while walking just one.

Offensively, LaGrange banged out nine hits while taking advantage of six Hardaway errors.

Hannah Karcher had two hits, including a double, with two RBIs.

Abby Vanhoose also had two hits and two RBIs, and Smith had two hits while driving in one run.

Malone Aldridge had a double and two RBIs, and Madison Dennis and Kadaysha Griffin each had a hit.

After scoring one run in the bottom of the first, LaGrange scored three runs in the second inning and five more in the third before capping the scoring with two runs in the fourth.

LaGrange will open its Region 5-AAAA schedule on Thursday at Central-Carroll.
