Mr. Billy Ray Hester, age 80, of LaGrange, passed away on Aug. 23, 2017, at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.  Mr. Hester was born on Jan. 18, 1937, in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Horace and Irene Brown Hester.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Hester; daughters, Cindy Westcott (David), Tracy Dempsey (Allen), Candy Clay (Bobby); grandchildren, Heather and Hanna Westcott, Dustin Hester, Dylan Hester, Harleigh Dempsey, Ryan, Courtney and Elizabeth Clay; great-grandchildren Carter and Colby Hester; extended family and friends.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginsfuneralhomes.com

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Rosemont Baptist Church with the Rev.
