James  C. (Jim) Ingram, Jr. 68 of Lanett, Alabama passed away at his home Wednesday Aug. 23, 2017.  Jim was born on Jan. 13, 1949, in Rockingham, North Carolina. He is survived by his mother Mary Dell Ingram of West Point, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father James Carl Ingram, Sr. Jim and his family owned and operated Ingram Jewelers in Downtown LaGrange and in LaGrange Mall for many years.  Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the West Point Methodist Church in West Point, Georgia with the funeral service on Saturday Aug. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the West Point Methodist Church, burial will follow at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Rockingham, North Carolina.  Online condolences may be sent to jeffjonesfuneralhome.com     Jeff Jones Funeral Home, LaFayette, Al. is in charge of arrangements.
