Sara Adams Middlebrooks

Mrs. Sara Adams Middlebrooks,  93, of  LaGrange passed away Sunday at Avalon Health & Rehab in Newnan Georgia. Mrs. Middlebrooks was born Nov. 6, 1923 to the late Bill & Commella Eady Adams in Heard County Georgia.

Sara was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and a former employee of Callaway Mills/Milliken & Company with over 40 years service and received the 25 year Callaway Mills pin. After retirement she was a senior companion at West Georgia Medical Center for over 12 years.  Most importantly she was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved manager Bobby Cox.

She was preceded in death by her Husband,  Eddie Cliff Middlebrooks , Sister, Doris Davis and  Brothers,  C. B. Adams and Ray Adams.

Survivors include two sons & daughter-in-law: Eddie & Louise Middlebrooks, Milledgeville, GA; Billy & Pam Middlebrooks, Fayetteville, GA.

Grandchildren: Cliff Middlebrooks, Milledgeville, GA; Kim (James) Whitlock, Cumming, GA; Wylly Harrison, Atlanta, GA; Anna Claire (Daniel) Erwin, Atlanta, GA; Brent Middlebrooks, Duluth, GA; Katherine (Matt) Massengill, Lexington, SC.

Greatgrandchildren: Madison Whitlock, Cumming, GA; Kayla Whitlock, Cumming, GA

Sister: Lucille Scott, Franklin, GA; Betty North, Carrollton, GA

Brothers: Watson Adams, Franklin, GA; Jack (Mary) Adams, Peachtree City, GA; Johnny (Jane) Adams, Franklin, GA

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sara Adams Middlebrooks will be held at  1:30 p.m.

Thursday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with the Reverend S. T. Janney officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from noon until 1:30 p.m. A private interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens Arrangements for Mrs. Sara Adams Middlebrooks are by Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home.
