Ezessia Varner Lee passed away Friday.

She was born Jan. 7, 1947, in LaGrange, Georgia. She was the daughter of Cleve and Bobbie Weaver Varner.

She attended East Depot High School and graduated from Ft. Valley State University; she taught at the Burwell Center.

Survivors include children, Marsha Lee (Darrick) Canty and Paula Lee (Derrick) Gray, all of LaGrange, GA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, three sisters, Bobbie Dowell, LaGrange, GA; Rubye McGhee, Sylvia (Clifford) Rogers, Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at New Macedonia Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 202 Strong Street.
