The Lafayette Christian School Cougars remained winless with a 46-12 road loss to Crosspointe Christian on Friday.

Junior quarterback Landon Whitley had a pair of touchdown runs for the Cougars.

Whitley had a touchdown run in the second quarter, and another one in the fourth quarter.

The night mostly belonged to Crosspointe, though, which improved to 4-0.

Lafayette Christian will look for a breakthrough win when it hosts Central Christian on Sept. 29.

The Cougars are 0-5 halfway through the season.
