Mr. Donald Keith Brown, Sr., age 77, of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 19, 2017, at his residence.  Mr. Brown was born on Jan. 19, 1940, in Laurence Tavern, Saint Andrews Parrish, Jamaica to the late Nathaniel Brown and Daisy Atherton Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Atherton.

Having achieved a master’s degree in his education endeavors, Mr. Brown was a real estate broker with the Dean Group.

Survivors include his wife, Hazeline Fannell Brown; son, Donald Keith Brown, Jr.; daughters, Denise Nataliee Brown and Shelly Ann Louise Brown; brother, Wayne Atherton; sister, Althea Atherton; grandchildren, Pearl Noelle Brown, Halley Rowland, Rachel Rowland, Donald Keith Brown, lll, Jordan Brown, Tristan Brown and Damion Brown; step-father, Carlisle Atherton; extended family.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Timothy Gadziala, chief celebrant.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until service hour.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginsfuneralhomes.com.
