John Alvin McKeever

John Alvin McKeever, Jr. passed away Friday.

He was born Jan. 28, 1952, the youngest son born to Mr. John Alvin McKeever, Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Ruth Smith McKeever of Newnan, Georgia.

He was a member of Wesley Chapel A. M. E. Church and was employed by some of the largest companies in the 148 Union of Finishers and Plasters.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mrs. Tommie E. McKeever, Franklin, GA; step daughter, Elaina (Terry) Washington, Moreland, GA; step daughter-in-law, Keisha Echols, Auburn, AL; three step grandchildren; mother-in-law, Arizona T. Edmondson; step grandmother, Elizabeth Hutchinson; two sisters, Evelyn Smith, Atlanta, GA; Lois Moreland, Newnan, GA; one brother-in-law, two aunts, Vera Neal and Cartha Jean Parrott, both of Newnan, GA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem. Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel AME Church, Newnan.
