John Will Huzzie, Sr. was born March 10, 1938, to the late Robert Huzzie Sr. and Allena Sledge Huzzie in Troup County, Georgia.

He was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and previously employed by West Point Stevens.

Survivors include his children, Reginald (Kim) Boyd, Deidre “Lisa” (Kenny) Stacks, Cassandra (Michael) Snelling, John (Nicole) Huzzie, Jr., Roxanne (Philip) Tobias, Twallace Fletcher, Della. R. Carswell, Elder LaTausher Fletcher, Fredia Miller, John Burden, and Dion Burden; 30 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren; two sisters, Susie Schley and Virginia (Charlie) Watkins; one brother, Larry Huzzie; special friends, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.
