Mrs. Rosie Bell Howard, age 90, of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 20, 2017, at the LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Howard was born on March 15, 1927, in Carrollton, Georgia. In addition to caring for the needs of her family, she had worked at Milliken for a number of years as a weaver.

Her parents and her husband, James Howard, as well as other family member preceded her in death.  Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Howard and Donald Howard and his wife Minnie; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; extended family.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens.
