Walda Ann Cross passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. She most recently resided in Newnan, GA, but previously of LaGrange, GA and Puerto Armulles Panama.

Walda was the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Lewinstein, born in July 15, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Lonnie R Cross IV and her sister Valerie Eastman.  She is survived by her husband, Lonnie R. Cross III; her daughters Kimberly (Terrell) Buchan, Meredith Cross and Gwenn Whittington (Scot); grandchildren, Dalton Cross, Lonnie Raleigh Cross V, McKinley Cross and great grandson Bentley.

Walda took joy in her children and her family. She leaves behind a legacy of a family that loves her and friends all over the world. Walda was a kind soul who looked for the good in everyone, always gave selflessly, and always had a smile for you.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, GA.
