Mr. J.C. Yarbrough,  88, of Big Spring Texas passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 in Midland Texas. Mr. Yarbrough was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Troup County and before moving to Texas while living here in LaGrange, J. C. was employed for a number of years in sales at Lukken Chevrolet. After moving to Big Springs, he was a member of First Baptist Church, worked in sales at Pollard Chevrolet and retired from Shroyer Motor Company.

J.C. was preceded in death by his parents, two Brothers, and Five Sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Yarbrough, Big Spring, TX

Son and daughter-in-law: Darryl & Wanda Yarbrough, Greenwood, S.C.

Step-daughter: Janie Anderson, Stanton, TX

Step-son: Jack Martin, Big Spring, TX

Two grandchildren: Nick & Rene Yarbrough, Greenwood S.C.

Becky Yarbrough, Greenwood, S.C.

Five great grandchildren: Kaily, Ashley, Davis, Seth and Skye

Sisters: Mrs. Bessie McGouirk, Jonesboro, GA

Mrs. Jennie Walker, LaGrange, GA

Funeral services for Mr. J. C. Yarbrough will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Unity Baptist Church with the Reverend’s Bobby Robinson, Doug Bingham, and Stanley Yarbrough officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wehadkee Cemetery in Rock Mills Alabama.
