Mr. Dock Cranford, Jr. the son of the late Dock Sr. and Delsa Cranford was born in Lagrange, GA.

“Dock” was a graduate of the East Depot Class of 1950, attended Griffin College of Barbering and served in both the U.S. Army and Air Force.

He was a 25 year retiree of Lockheed Martin giving dedicated service until August of  2003.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four nieces; Barbara (Clarence) Johnson of College Park, Mollye Robinson of Las Vegas, NV, Hilda Ponder of Sunnyside, NY and Miriam Birdsong of Atlanta, two nephews; Carl Cranford of Antioch, CA. and Larry Cranford of Lagrange, one great-niece, four great-nephews and a host of great-great nieces, nephews and friends.

A chapel service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Mackey-Wilson-Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. Lenton Snow officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be in Southview Cemetery.
