Mrs. Violet Marie Blankenship Adamson, age 94, of LaGrange, passed away on Oct. 11, 2017 at the Florence Hand Home.  Mrs. Adamson was born on Feb. 20, 1923 in Ashland, Alabama to the late Ethridge Blankenship and Camilla Alford Blankenship.  She retired from International Platex and was a member of the Callaway Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Adamson.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Adamson (Linda) of LaGrange; daughters, Eugenia McIntyre (Steven) of LaGrange, Lynn Welborn (Mike) of Alpharetta, Barbara Adamson of LaGrange and Virginia Kirby (Gene Brown) of LaGrange; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; extended family and friends.
