Dovie Lou Ware Philpot passed away Friday.

She was born Jan. 23, 1934, to the late Rev. Robert and Mrs. Caroline Ware in Heard County, Georgia.

Dovie attended Midway School; and united with Ebenezer Baptist Church. She retired from Private Line Manufacturing Company.

Survivors include three daughters, Floristine Ware, Franklin; Cheryl (Daniel) Strozier, LaGrange; Leslie Philpot, Franklin; four grandchildren; siblings, Rev. James R. Ware, LaGrange; Fannie (W. C.) Crump, Atlanta; John (Pauline) Ware, Decatur; special nieces, cousins and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Franklin.
