Mr. James Timothy “Tim” Fann, 56, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at his home.

Born May 2, 1961, in New Smyrna Beach, FL, Tim was the son of the late James and Alice Orton Fann.

He worked in the maintenance department for the Troup County School System, had lived in LaGrange for 20 years before making his home in Hogansville and was a member of Grace Covenant Worship Center.  Tim loved to golf, fish, was a NASCAR fan and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

Survivors include his wife, Shannon Fann of Hogansville; children, Kayla Fann and Aleasha Fann, both of Texas, and Libby Taylor and Garrett Davis, both of Hogansville; brother, Patrick Fann of Marietta; sisters and brother in-law, Gwen Angle of Marietta, and Sharon and Frank Teaver of LaGrange; and four grandchildren, Shelby Fann, Seth Scarborough, Piper Taylor, and Houston Davis.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at Grace Covenant Worship Center with pastor Alex Montgomery officiating. Interment will be in Methodist Cemetery in Pierson, Florida.   

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday night.
