Mrs. Minnie Meral Cameron, age 93, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at the Pruitt Health Care in Greenville, Georgia. 

Mrs. Cameron, a native of Lagrange, Georgia was the daughter of the late Eugene and Pearl Cofield. She attended the public schools.  Minnie was united in holy matrimony to the late Etoney T. Cameron and to this union six children were born.

Survivors include a devoted son, Charles C. Cameron; a daughter, Belinda Cameron; three brothers, George King, Dewey (Tamron) Cofield and Dexter Cofield; two sisters, Laverne C. Hill and Fredia (Sid) Fitzpatrick; 19 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death in addition to her parents and her husband, four children, Bertha Cameron Callaway, David Cameron, Willie Frank Cameron and Otis Clyde Cameron; three brothers, Willie Frank Cofield, Arthur Cofield and Eugene Cofield, Jr. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Meral Cameron will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church on Cannonville Road.  Pastor Renee Clark will officiate with burial at Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Lavern Hill at 115 Robert Taylor Road.
