Walter Tucker & Horace Joseph McGhee

Walter Tucker passed away Thursday.

He was born June 1, 1928, in Odessadale (Meriwether County) Georgia to the late, Ms. Mary Tucker.

He joined Branch Hebron Baptist Church at an early age.

Survivors include one devoted son, Joseph McGhee; sister, Carrie Fannie Tucker, both of Odessadale, GA; and a host of relatives and friends.

Horace Joseph McGhee passed away Tuesday at his home.

He was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Odessadale (Meriwether County) Georgia to the late, Ms. Annie Ruth McGhee and Mr. Walter Tucker.

He joined Branch Hebron Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until his death.

Survivors include a devoted aunt, Carrie Tucker; stepfather, Allen McGhee; sisters:  Daisy Brown, Shirley (Terry) Brown, Jacqueline (John) Gates, Janie (Roger) Foster, Bertha Strozier, Maxine Cameron, Pauline (Robert) Murray; brothers:  David Lee McGhee, Roger McGhee, Robert Lee (Joe Ann) Russell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The service for Mr. Tucker and Mr. McGhee will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 50 Apricot Street in Greenville.
