Glenn Brooks, 89 passed away Wednesday.

He was born June 28, 1928 in LaFayette, Alabama to the late, Anderson Brooks, Sr. and Dora Rushawl.

He was Baptist by Faith, attended school in Lafayette, was a US Army Veteran and employed by Newman Construction for 25 years.

Survivors include his son, Troy Dixon; brother, Walter Brooks, LaGrange, Georgia; sisters:  Thelma Brooks, Bronx, NY; Mary McCurty and Hattie Williams both of LaGrange, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Restlawn Memory Gardens.

The excellent care of Mr. Brooks is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
