Chuck Pitts has passionately served the LaGrange community for 35 years through the Refresh Me Dental Center and Kids Zone Dentistry. He is a lifelong resident of LaGrange, a legacy of LaGrange College, and is proud that both of his daughters, Jessica and Jordan, grew up here and became professionals in LaGrange as well.

Pitts received his dental training at the Medical College School of Dentistry and was honored to serve as a visiting faculty member for 10 years at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He served as a member of the Leadership Council of LaGrange College and previously served as the Treasurer to both the LaGrange Rotary Club and the Highland Country Club Board of Governors.

As a participant in the Trust Building and Racial Reconciliation Program in LaGrange, he has learned the importance of social unity and continually applies that learning to his personal and professional relationships.

In his free time, Pitts enjoys spending time with his wife, Cheryl, playing with his dogs, golfing, and boating.

Pitts said he believes it is a wonderful time to be a resident in the city of LaGrange. He believes long-awaited economic growth is becoming a reality.

As a practicing dentist for 34 years and a successful small business owner, Pitts believes he has developed significant experience in the opportunities and challenges of leading the people that work and serve with him. He is thankful for the trust that has been placed in him by his team and thousands of local citizens, and has said he will continue to care for the families of LaGrange who place their health in his teams’ hands. If elected to the city council, Pitts said he will encourage a sustainable, thriving economy, be an advocate for fiscal responsibility and promote social unity.
