Kenderious Davis, 24, was arrested after allegedly attempting to flee from police for a tail light violation Monday night. According to the LaGrange Police Department report, an officer noticed Davis’ vehicle’s tail lights were out and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

However Davis kept driving even after the officer turned on his patrol car’s blue lights. The officer later turned off his lights and called for other units as Davis continued driving.

Davis finally stopped his car in the Benjamin Harvey Hill Homes before fleeing on foot, according to the police report. Before looking for Davis, officers ran his license plate and name and discovered it was expired and that Davis had an active municipal court probation violation for a charge of indecent exposure. According to the police report, officers noticed he taped the word ‘November’ over ‘October” on his license plate.

After finding Davis in one of the buildings, they arrested him. According to the police report, officers then searched his person and found a woman’s LaGrange College ID card.

Davis said it was his girlfriend’s ID even though officers noticed he didn’t know the woman’s full name. Because of this, Davis was then taken to the police department to be interviewed with a detective due to a burglary that had occurred earlier that day at LaGrange College.

Davis was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude officers, resisting officers, tail light violation, operating a vehicle with an altered plate and his probation warrant.

Man’s vehicle’s tires slashed

A man discovered his vehicle’s tires were slashed at the Tall Pines apartment complex Tuesday morning.

According to the police report, the man parked his vehicle in front of his apartment at 11:15 p.m. Monday night, and when he came outside at 7 a.m., he discovered three of his tires were cut.

The man told police that his vehicle’s doors were still locked and that nothing was taken or missing from the vehicle.

$600 worth of tools stolen

A locked tool box was allegedly broken into and $600 worth of tools were taken from it at the Great Wolf Lodge construction site between Friday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 6:30 a.m.
