Marichal Price, a lifelong resident of Hogansville, is running for Hogansville City Council post No. 2.

Price is running for city council because he wants to help bridge a positive relationship between the city and the citizens, so that they can build a stronger community together.

He believes in order to do that, the city needs to build trust and relations within the adult community, but foster leadership and citizenship with our youth. If elected, he plans to establish youth programs that will help our children develop leadership skills, work ethic and positive productivity.

He said when he was growing up, he had the opportunity to experience many things that he would not have been able to if it had not it been for a few good men and women who took the time to guide him, educate him and take him to extra curricula activities.
